In my own experience I have learned:
1. Information is the Key - Tons of it from all angles. Do no be afraid to learn about those things people have tried to keep you away from even if you still do not agree with them. The abundance of information will help you form your opinions to things both positive and negative.
2. Approach all information with the innocence of a child and lose your pre-conceived ideas of what you were taught.
3. Do not let symbolism scare you. You may find that some are associating false meanings to symbols keep you away from them. Form your own opinions from research.
4. You cannot achieve a total state of consciousness by only focusing on the positive.. balance is needed for a full experience. In other words, ensure you gather your information from all sides possible.
5. Watch when Karma presents opportunities to you.
6. Do not pay attention to the comments in videos UNTIL AFTER you have watched the video...
7. Be careful not to blindly trust in any man or text until you personally experience the topics in question. Books are not meant to tell you right from wrong... your consciousness is. That is why you have it. Texts have been rewritten over and over in time including sacred ones to fit the agenda of those in power.
8. Do not take my word on any of these points but use them as informational material. Form your own guide to enlightenment.
