Last Days-Kali Yuga Compared

2Timothy 3: in the acharit-hayamim (last days) will come trying times and deception! " Stay away from these people!"
1 Moreover, understand this: in the acharit-hayamim (last days) will come trying times. 2 People will be self-loving, money-loving, proud, arrogant, insulting, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, uncontrolled, brutal, hateful of good, 4 traitorous, headstrong, swollen with conceit, loving pleasure rather than God, 5 as they retain the outer form of religion but deny its power. Stay away from these people! 6 For some of them worm their way into homes and get control of weak-willed women who are heaped with sins and swayed by various impulses, 7 who are always learning but never able to come to full knowledge of the truth. 8 In the same way as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moshe, so also these people oppose the truth. They are people with corrupted minds, whose trust cannot pass the test.

If we take the above and compare it to the ancient Sanskrit writings of the Srimad Bhagavatam we find this:

"O learned one, in this iron age of Kali men have but short lives. They are quarrelsome, lazy, misguided, unlucky and, above all, always disturbed." (Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.1.10)

It is only 5100+ years since Kaliyuga  (Iron  age ) dawned on this earth. Still several thousand years (of a total of 432,000 years) to go.

Kaliyuga is the very embodiment of all evil. In this yuga, humans are primarily motivated by their desire to satisfy their stomach (udara) and sexual urges (shishna), Canto 12, chapter 3, verse 42. They do not care for, or protect, the old, let alone their own parents and grandparents. And, fathers, in turn, do not care even for their most virtuous sons. So driven are humans by their carnal desires that instead of seeking the counsel of their own family members, they seek the counsel of their in-laws (verse 37). Even woman become very evil in this yuga, says Shukacarya (Canto 12, chapter 2, verse 34). They abandon their husbands, if he becomes impoverished (verse 36). Their bodies are small (hrsva-kaayaa) but they eat too much (mahaa-haaraa), they become shameless (gata-hriyaahaa), they constantly talk harshly (shashvat katubhaashini), become expert thieves and are greatly emboldened!
Don't worry. There are even more horrible things said about all humans in general. The point about mentioning women is that they are believed to be naturally soumya - pleasant and not aggressive - disposed to doing more good than men are - yet the ravages of Kaliyuga do not spare even women.
"Sukadeva Goswami said: Then, O King, religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, duration of life, physical strength and memory will all diminish day by day because of the powerful influence of the age of Kali. In Kali-yuga, wealth alone will be considered a sign of a man's good birth, proper behavior and fine qualities. And law and justice will be applied only on the basis of one's power. Men and women will live together merely because of superficial attraction, and success in business will depend on deceit. Womanliness and manliness will be judged according to one's expertise in sex,

Everything virtuous will be forgotten in Kaliyuga. Finally, Bhagavan  GOD will appear as Kalki, in the family of a Brahmin named Vishnuyasha (Canto 12, chapter 2, verse 18).
He will appear in a village (in South India) named Sambala, in the house of a prominent Brahmin (or chief of the village).
The श्रीमद Bhagavatam itself claims primordial origins, while accepting that it has since been edited by human and divine hands. The text and Hindu tradition ascribe its authorship to Veda Vyasa, who is also credited as the scribe for the Vedas.

Sounds and looks like a Pale rider to me!

Revelation 6:8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its ...

I looked, and there was a pale horse, and its rider's name was Death. Hell followed him. ..
