Why am I talking about all this to you today? This is because when meditating on the events of recent days, I can not help but draw parallels with the situation that we, Westerners in so-called democratic countries, are currently experiencing. Because if we dare to look beyond appearances, we should perhaps ask ourselves: do we live under a dictatorship? Political dictatorship, financial dictatorship, medical dictatorship, scientific dictatorship, judicial dictatorship. The problem is that the vast majority of us are not yet asking ourselves this fundamental question: has a dictatorship not set itself up in our lands, with our involuntary and unconscious complicity? Whether we live in Europe or Canada, isn’t dictatorship hiding its real face behind the appearance of democracy? Let us ask ourselves these questions:
Are we living under a political dictatorship? It begs the question, when you see that European countries have abandoned their sovereignty to submit to the European Union which is headed by a board and a chairman appointed by the global elite, not elected democratically … And when we see that Canada, the United States and Mexico are about to experience the same thing, unbeknownst to the public and politicians, a shudder goes down our spine…
Do we live under a financial dictatorship? How can we deny it, when we see that countries have abandoned their power to mint their own money, to borrow from private central banks charging interest, and which themselves add to the growing deficit and the bankruptcy of nations? And how can we conclude otherwise when we see the collapse that banks have created by carrying out illegal speculation was ultimately sponged up by our own taxes, causing increasing impoverishment of populations and yet the disgusting enrichment of these same private banks?
Do we live in a medical dictatorship? How can you describe it otherwise, when you discover that governments are subject to the requirements of pharmaceutical companies in public health and vaccination, preferring to promote the financial health of the latter rather than the physical health of their populations (the revelations about GSK’s contract in the H1N1 dossier eloquently illustrating this)? And what should we conclude from the fact that the experts who formulate recommendations for public health are overwhelmingly funded by pharmaceutical companies themselves?
Are we living under a scientific dictatorship? We can query, in any case, when we see that honest scientists, motivated by the well-being of Mankind, have their career ruined and their discoveries suppressed because their work threatens the economic interests of certain groups or worse, could give individuals control over their own lives in terms of food, health, or energy …
Do we live under a legal dictatorship? More than ever, we need to ask ourselves, when we see that a protest against abuse is considered a terrorist or criminal act, and that now the mere fact of being suspected of being dangerous to the National security can put us in situations of custody indefinitely … The existence of Guantanamo is only the tip of the iceberg …
