ya gotta laugh. From wikipedia: "Attainment of independence should not be confused with revolution, which typically refers to the violent overthrow of a ruling authority."
Which is exactly what the American Revolution was. So... we had a long bloody violent revolution and then we gained our independence...confused?
Are we "statistically independent", "marginally independent", or "absolutely independent" ?
Independence from one ruler or governmental system and now dependent on what?
right.
Are we truly independent or are we In dependence?
Is this Independence day or In dependence day?
